With Bali being such a popular travel destination it didn’t even occur to me that we could find a secret waterfall, but we did.

How we found it

My friend had the number to a local driver that she uses when in Bali and it’s the same driver we had when we went to the Secret and Sacred Canyon in Sukawati. We asked him for tips on waterfalls to visit and he gave us a few tips, one of them being a place his friend had just found out about and had recommended our driver just a few days before.

Entrance fee

10.000 IDR

The road to the entrance is fairly good, we got there by car. However the walk down to the waterfall is hundreds of steps down so it is not a good waterfall for those who have issues with mobility.

There’s a cave behind the waterfall where you can swim into and stand under
It started pouring but I just embraced it. I love warm summer rains.

It is only 28 km from Canggu and even closer to Ubud, the adress is Apuan, Susut, Bangli Regency, Bali 80661. The secret waterfall is called Tibumana Waterfall and you can easily find the location by searching for the name on Google Maps.

  1. This waterfall still on my list but there are so many of them in Bali 🙂 And sometimes they look so different on dry and rainy season 🙂
